Job Summary

As a product marketing manager at AlgoPear, I was in charge of rebranding the company after a legal dispute with a competitor. I came up with the new name and the logo, which reflect the company’s vision of providing algorithmic solutions for various problems. I also created the website and helped establish the overall brand and messaging. I collaborated with the founders, the developers, and the designers to ensure a smooth transition and a consistent identity across all platforms.

Establishing a brand that users could trust with their financial future. Creating a brand tone, go-to-market strategy, and marketing brief to best guide the team on our path to launch.

Customer discovery, and networking. Each client had the ambition of financial freedom and the stresses that come with that. My role was to listen, advise based on what we could provide and be as honest as possible.

Paid Advertising: Once we raised I was tasked to spend x amount of a month to find out the cost per acquisition to best scale the application to those who truly needed it.

My Roles

One of my main responsibilities at AlgoPear was to grow and engage our social media audience. I managed a team of three marketers, and we created and curated content for Facebook and Instagram. We used analytics tools to measure our performance and optimize our strategies. We achieved impressive results, reaching over 3 million users on both platforms with zero advertising spend. We also built a loyal community of followers who interacted with our posts and gave us feedback.

Conclusion

Working at AlgoPear was a valuable experience that enhanced my skills and knowledge as a product marketing manager. I learned how to create and execute effective marketing campaigns for a tech startup, how to communicate with different stakeholders, how to lead a team, and how to adapt to changing situations. I also developed my creativity, my analytical thinking, and my problem-solving abilities. I enjoyed working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where I faced new challenges every day. I am confident that I can apply what I learned at AlgoPear to any future project or role.
